On Monday, 29th March 2010 the North West Limousin Cattle Breeders Association held their Annual Open Primestock Show and Sale within Borderway Mart, Carlisle.

An entry of 34 cattle were forward and the classes were judged by Mr Gavin Little, Butcher, The Arcade, Penrith. The championship ticket was presented to a black steer shown by Messrs Dodd of West View, Temple Sowerby, Penrith. Their 590kilo entry sold for 204p at £1206.50p and was knocked down to the judge, Mr Little.

Standing in the reserve champion position was a red heifer shown by
Messrs Dodd of West View. This 511kilo home bred heifer went for 186.5p
at £953.02 and goes to Messrs Riley Bros.
Standing in reserve position was a 511kg red heifer, also from Messrs Dodd of West View. This heifer realised 186.5p per kilo - £953.02 selling to Messrs Riley Bros.
