At Borderway Mart, Carlisle on Monday 17th August, Harrison & Hetherington held their Annual Primestock Anniversary show and sale.
The anniversary prime cattle show was judged by Mr Owain Llyr. He placed Mr Brian Hall of Ainstable Hall Champion with a British Blue cross heifer, which sold for 229.5p 640kg £1468.80 to the judge. SJ & JO Dodd of West View took the reserve champion ticket for their Limousin cross bullock which later sold to Mr Charles Kirkpatrick.

In the prime lambs section the pre sale show was kindly judged by Mr
Stephen Stoddart. A fantastic show of sheep were forward with the Champion
pen of lambs being Texel crosses consigned by Messrs Bell of Hallbankgate,
they later sold for 283.6p/kg £135. Messrs Bell also took the reserve
champion ticket with their pen of Beltex cross lambs which made £85.
