Despite uncertainties facing the future of UK agriculture, accounts for the H&H Group, Carlisle, for the year to June 30, 2006 show a profit before tax of £644,000 on a turnover of £7,993,000. [more]

2006 Beef Expo Cheque

Beefing up the funds: During the lead up to the 2006 Beef Expo event held in June a grand prize draw and a charity auction was organised by the Border Belgian Blue Club, the North West Limousin Cattle Breeders Association and Harrison & Hetherington Limited, and took place at the Beef Expo dinner held the evening prior of the main event. A total amount of £4,191.70 was raised and a presentation to the two charities which benefited from this event was made on August 10. The charities were - Arc-Addington Fund and Pride of Cumbria Great North Air Ambulance.
