from the usual 15th May)- this is also the IACS submission deadline for 2004.

Shooting days north of the Border
H & H Bowe has been retained to let and arrange shooting days on
an extremely attractive Borders Estate, close to Bonchester Bridge
near Hawick. The Shoot
at Harwood House Estate currently covers some 3666 acres and will next season
offer a range challenging shooting days, mainly Driven
Pheasant or Duck
but walked up rough shooting days will also be available. H&H Bowe’s
clients, Galloway Sporting has recently taken on the sporting rights and therefore

St Johns Chapel Antique Sale
On Saturday 27th March 2004 Harrison & Hetherington St Johns
Chapel held their March sale of antiques and modern household furniture
of effects. This was the fourth sale since H&H have been operating
the mart. The ringside was packed to capacity with bidders resulting
in a highly
successful sale.
Leading prices (all items from local residences):- mahogany dressing
table £550, oak bureau £130, mini corner cupboard £130,
generator £126, 4 oak Queen Anne style chairs £120, needlework
table £90, art nouveau chair £85, living room carpet £75,
leather chain foot stool £70. |
