Shetland pony sale entry increases

The autumn show and sale on behalf of the Shetland Pony Stud Book Society at
Borderway on Saturday October 13th 2007 has attracted an entry of 181 ponies.

The increased entry on last year's inaugural event includes 53 colt foals, 43 filly foals, 15 fillies, 27 mares, 19 unlicensed colts, 21 licensed stallions and three geldings.

The judge is Mrs Sue Bowling who runs the Athelney stud in Devon.

The programme of the event is 8.30am, show classes; 10.30am, sale of tack;
11.30am, sale of Shetland ponies.

The society will be on hand this day for any enquiries along with equine sales consultant, Norman Blackburn.

2006 champion Newton Catriona from Norman Blackburn, of Newton Reigny with the judge Mrs Ann Stevens.
