Texel breeders raised £1,046 for the Great North Air Ambulance Pride of Cumbria Appeal at an open day at Peter Woof's farm at Stainton, near Kendal in July. Handing over the cheque to air ambulance fund raising manager Paul Harrison at Borderway Mart, Carlisle, before Friday's (Sept 3) sale of Texel females, is left, Jack Lucas, chairman of the Northern Area Texel Sheep Breeders' Association, Harry Woodmass, chairman of the Solway and Tyne Texel Breeders Club which staged Friday's sale and Saturday's ram sale in conjunction with Harrison & Hetherington and Steven Symes, North West Texel Breeders' Club chairman.
