Lynne joins the team

Lynne Grieve has joined Harrison & Hetherington as a fieldsperson for commercial store and breeding stock sold through Borderway.

She lives on the family beef and sheep farm, Whiteside, near Bellingham and has quickly settled into her new role. Senior auctioneer Robert Addison said:
"After a short time with us we're pleased with Lynne's knowledge and ability to assess livestock and the professional approach she takes to her work. She has already developed a significant number of contacts with a lot of Borderway's regular consignors."

Prior to joining Harrison & Hetherington, Lynne worked for ADAS as the Redesdale experimental husbandry farm for a short time before she was seconded to DEFRA in February 2001 with the foot and mouth epidemic.

A member of Bellingham Young Farmers Club, Lynne has been both the club secretary and secretary of the YFC Northern Area field day committee. In July this year she visited Buckingham Palace through the YFC on the invitation of the Queen as part of an event for young people in the countryside.
