Edward’s changing role

Specialist dairy auctioneer and consultant Edward Brown will have a changed role within the farmstock operation of Harrison & Hetherington from the beginning of October.

While very much wishing to remain at the heart of Harrison & Hetherington's pedigree and specialist dairy activities, Edward would also like to spend a little more time on his outside interests.

While he continues to be a director of the farmstock operation, he is transferring to a part-time contract of employment which has been agreed with him and the company.

H&H Group chief executive Trevor Hebdon said: "For some considerable time, and well before the onset of FMD, Edward had been talking to me about the possibility of a managed change in his role within our farmstock operation.

"Edward's ongoing involvement with our farmstock operation as a whole and, in particular, his in-depth knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, the dairy sector, ensures that the company retains an invaluable asset."
