STORE CATTLE

The pre sale judging was performed by Mr Les Bainbridge of Seamer, who awarded the Championship rosette to Mr Jim Hollingsworth of Pandy Farm, Mold for a 10 month old Blonde d’ Aquitaine cross red steer sired by the registered Blonde bull Pioneer Tanner and out of a Limousin cross mother. It later sold for £800 to Brian and Angela Smith of Tachbrook, Warwickshire. The Reserve Champion prize was presented to Mr Peter Richardson of Sandhills, Bassenthwaite for a Limousin cross steer which sold for £1150.

Trade overall was marvellous with numerous new customers bidding briskly for all classes of cattle.

Overall Champion animal consigned by Mr Jim Hollingsworth of Pandy Farm, Mold which later sold for £800.
