MIDDLETON IN TEESDALE MARKET STORE CATTLE SALE

Harrison & Hetherington held their February Prize Show and sale of 331 Store Cattle at Middleton in Teesdale Mart on Tuesday 8th February 2005.

The show was sponsored by Eden Farm Supplies (Brough) Ltd and judged by Mr E MacPherson, Oban.

The Overall Champion, a Limousin Cross Heifer, exhibited by Messrs J C & J White, Rigg Farm, broke the Mart Record and Equalled Harrison & Hetherington Ltd’s group of Mart’s record selling for £4,000 to A Phillips, Milton Keynes.

The Sale attracted numerous purchasers resulting in an overall average of £466.72 only £6.08 behind last year.
