A total clearance was effected to the largest gathering of purchasers seen at this sale for a number of years. The overall average price rose by £20 from last year to level at £529.25.
The show, kindly sponsored by Barclays Bank Plc was judged by Mr S Dodd, Temple Sowerby who made the following awards:
