Reserve Champion
Reserve championship went to a 15 month old pedigree Limousin-sired heifer out of a Belgian Blue cow shown by Len Skelton, of Low House, Dearham, Maryport.

Mr Ian Marsden of Sheffield very ably carried out the pre-sale judging. Championship rosette was awarded to a Belgian Blue cross heifer from Messrs Batty of Flimby Hall, Maryport which later sold for £820 to the judge Mr Marsden.

The Reserve Champion ticket was presented to Mr Len Skelton of Low House Farm, Dearham Maryport for his first prize Limousin cross heifer. She sold for £800 to Mr JM Townsend of Colne.
