Harrison & Hetherington had forward 297 Breeding and Store cattle for the Prize Show and Sale at Middleton in Teesdale Mart on Tuesday 4th May 2004.

The show classes were kindly sponsored by K P Scott, Low Way, the Champion winning the Steyr Cup and £20 voucher presented by Tunstall Tractors Ltd.

Judging of the show was carried out by Mr James Crichton, Egremont and the cattle brought out were of the highest standard, as is usual at this noted centre.

A strong class of steers saw a 10 month old three quarter bred Limousin from J C & J White, Rigg Farm placed first, and was later awarded the Championship to go on and sell for £1,350 to Messrs Hough, Pontefract.

2nd Prized Heifer - M N Jewitt, Gracies Farm - £600 to C R Horner
