ANNIVERSARY STORE CATTLE SHOW AND SALE

On Wednesday, 27th August 2003 at Borderway Mart, Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their Anniversary show and sale of store cattle.

A fantastic show of 1814 cattle were forward to a packed ringside, who saw a great selection of cattle. Trade was what could only be discribed as out of this world with more than 120 different purchasers taking cattle home to all parts of the UK from Aberdeen to Bristol.

The judge for the day was Mr David Hammond, Northallerton who did an excellent job awarding the championship to a Limousin bullock consigned by noted stocksmen Messrs Graham, Miller Hill, Gilsland selling for £790 to the judge.
