MIDDLETON IN TEESDALE MARKET SUCKLED CALF SALE

TUESDAY 12th NOVEMBER 2002

On Tuesday 12th November 2002, Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Middleton in Teesdale conducted their prize show and sale of 1290 Suckled calves.

An outstanding quality show of calves forward sold readily to a packed ringside of purchasers. The overall average of £423.58 being £91.56 up from the corresponding sale in 2000. The well supported show was judged by Mr S Haugh, Castleford who made the following awards in classes sponsored by Carrs Billington and Mrs Denise Fisher.
