Texel breeders and enthusiasts gathered for the major reduction sale from the Gwestydd flock of TG & PM Jarman.  Topping the sale at 1,700gns was a February born ARR/ARR  shearling gimmer sired by Knock If You Want It and out of a Muiresk bred dam.  She sold in lamb to Haddo Jumbo to PA Cartman Hall of Scotsthrop Farm, Skipton.

Shortly following was another February born shearling gimmer which sold for 1,500gns.  Also sired by the Knock ram and carrying the Muiresk breeding line in the mothers pedigree, she was knocked down to D Aitken of Kerfield, Peebles.   Selling for 1,400gns was an ARR/ARR gimmer sired by Muiresk Final Winston and out of a Ballaglonney Captain bred dam.  Again in lamb to Haddo Jumbo, she was successfully purchased by R Wilson of Carr Holme, Armathwaite.

Averages - ewes £253.96,  shearling gimmers £395.65
