Kirkby Stephen Ram SaleOn the opening day of the Swaledale sheep breeders association ‘C’ distict ram sale, 133 aged rams and 132 ram lambs were catalogued and records were broken in both sections an aged ram sold by R Marwood & Sons of Long Green sold for £12,000 to Messrs Buckle of Buckles Farm. A ram lamb from Mr GA Slack of Stoneriggs was bid to £4,800 and then left the ring unsold.

Aged rams averaged £665.67 (+ £71.56)
Ram lambs averaged £379.70 (- £379.70)
