On Friday 10th October 2003 Middleton in Teesdale Mart, Harrison & Hetherington Ltd conducted the Swaledale Sheep Breeders Association “A” District Ram Sale, Which had a catalogued entry of 325 Rams.

Aged Rams sold to £2500 and averaged £357.94 (plus £3.81), Shearling Ram sold to £8000 and averaged £588.58 (minus £66.39).
