A strong crowd gathered for the sale of the award winning Janhaven Suffolks with prices peaking at 750gns for a gimmer by Bentley Border Reiver out of Chebsey Linford, purchased by Mr Mc Connell of Dumfries.
The Ram Lambs definitely displayed show qualities which was reflected in the trade. Prices reached 500gns twice over. The first again by Bentley Border Reiver was clinched by Mr Owen of Glan Conway and the second by Fordafourie Sneak Preveiw went to Mr Rowcroft of Garstang, Lancs.
Local buyers were also active with Mr Cox of Church Eaton securing the top price ewe lamb for 420gns.
