Lleyn females were in demand at the first spring sale on Monday 17th May 2004 at Borderway.

Topping the sale with empty yearlings at £155 was Messrs Geldard & Sons, Low Foulshaw Farm, Gilpin Bridge, Levens, and being purchased by Messrs Toner, 8 Rochester Avenue, Westgate, Morecambe. Messrs Vaughan, Llysrawel, Twfton, Clabeston Road, Pembs, with a pen being knocked down at £140 to Mr N Crichton, Lochend, Berwick-on-Tweed.
