On Thursday 2nd October 2003 Harrison & Hetherington, Borderway held a late autumn sale of Beltex sheep.

Topping the days trading was a shearling ram from James McGarva, Horse Close Farm, Cummertrees, Annan, this was an ARR/ARR and sired by Kingpin. He changed hands at 1,900gns to Messrs Jennings, Craik Hall.

Next at 1,000gns was a Ram lamb from Alan Jackson, Covington Mill, Thankerton, Biggar, the buyer this time was Messrs Little, The Guards, Ireby, Carlisle.

The dispersal of the Moonraker Flock for Messrs Richardson, Burnhouse Farm, Carnwath, Lanarkshire sold shearling gimmers at 650gns, 550gns, 520gns and 500gns (x2) with ewe lambs selling to a top of 300gns twice.
