Border & Lakeland Holstein Club Show & Sale

Wednesday 19th October 2005

With twenty-two prices at 1,000gns up to a top of 2,300gns was a clear indication that the Border & Lakeland Holstein Club Show & Sale on Wednesday 19th October 2005 was further proof of the enduring success for providing top quality cattle.

Sale Ring

Auctioneer Glyn Lucas was “enormously impressed particular with the udder quality of the heifers and young cows. Yes, we did have a super trade, but as far as the buyers are concerned, they were confronted with a fantastic choice of high yielding, good type, well bred cattle, virtually all of which would grace any herd,” concluded Mr Lucas.

The judge Jim Boyd, Letterickhills Holsteins, Cambuslang, professionally selected the prizewinners and resultant champions of the day.
