FINAL DISPERSAL SALE OF HOLSTEINS
FOR MOUSEFIELD FAMILY FARMS

Report:
On Thursday 30th September 2004 the final sale to disperse the Holsteins from Mousefield Family Farms took place within the Bristol Sales Centre at Washingpool Farm, Easter Compton.
Over 200 head of sound Holsteins were dispersed throughout the country. Bidding was brisk with prices reaching £850 for a fresh calved heifer fired by Formation.
The second top price was £780 again for a heifer sired by Formation. The twenty three in calf heifers averaged £490 with a top price of £720 paid for another Formation daughter.
The best trade of the day was for the impressive youngstock which averaged out at £307 with a top price of £430 being paid for a Granduc Tribute daughter.
