The top price was 1000gns for a recently calved Hanoverhill SS Clyde daughter giving 40kgs/day in her 5th lactation. Classified VG87 she had given 8800kgs in her 4th lactation. Her dam was a 9000kg VG cow and the successful buyers were Messrs Withers, Arlingham, Gloucester.

Selling at 950gns was the GP83 2nd calver, Swallowdale Dictator Dainty, recently calved into her 2nd lactation. She gave 8919kgs as a heifer and sold to Messrs S&R Russel, Brinkworth, Chippenham.

At 930gns Messrs DA & LA Cullimore took home a recently calved daughter of Ernlo Chairman Valiant for their herd at Berkley Gloucester.
