The buyer was Mr DKL Jones and she joins his Radnorhill herd at Presteigne in Powys. She is due in October to Crichel Principal carrying a valuable heifer calf and having given over 11,000kgs in her most recent lactations at 4.60% (3.4%).

Second highest price of the day was 3200gns paid by Messrs J & H Shadwich, Dalston for Hiddenvalley Mandel Dellia VG. She joins their Raughton herd at the end of her 2nd lactation and sold in calf to a sexed Principal service. She is projected to peak at over 9000kgs at 5% butterfat in this lactation. Her dam is a VG87 Leadman daughter of Snow-N Denises Dellia EX95.

Messrs A & C Watson took home the fancy Jolt Roxy for their herd at Cockermouth at 2600gns. She was mid way through her 1st lactation having given 6015kgs in 239 days at 5.55% (3.64%). Due in October to Principal, she is from a VG88 Areostar and then the EX94 Hanoverhill T T Roxette, a grand daughter of the great Citation Roxy.

Messrs J D & ME Holgate, Settle, Yorks took home some exceptional individuals including a recently calved heifer by Miklin Galaxy at 2200gns bred from a VG89 Dannix daughter that originates from a high production French cow family. They also purchased three fresh heifers in milk at 2000gns each including the Etazon Wallace sired Lola going back to Highpoint, a Gibbon grand-daughter of Moer-Milk Southwind Margi EX91, A Mtoto grand-daughter of DRA August EX 96 and at 1900 gns a VG86- 2yr Basar from the Sunshine family at Lylehaven.

Hiddenvalley Maryland VG88 is a high production Mascot daughter of Bilsrowan Fortuna EX93 and she sold having given over 12,000kg in her 2nd lactation at 4.64% butterfat to Mr R F Gethin, Shrewsbury. Now in her 3rd lactation she is due in October to Principal.

Also at 2000gns was the Metro sired VG85 Tessa that completes 4 generation of VG or EX cows originally bred at Grosvenor Farms she was sold to local breeders, Messrs DE & LM Wilson, Highoaks.
