South Devons sell to 1,500gns
Two bulls sold to a top of 1,500gns at the Spring Sale of South Devon cattle. The first 1,500gn price was for Brafferton Stardust 54 from Mr JP Harrison of Tollerton, York. Stardust, a February 2003 born son of the easy calving sire Brafferton Stardust 11, was knocked down to Cutcloy Farming Co of Whithorn, Newton Stewart.

The second 1,500gn bid was made for Brettles Sas Red Delta a March 2003 born bull consigned by Mr & Mrs M Rushbrooke of Bewdley, Worcester. Red Delta, sired by Oxey Reddish and out of the home bred cow Brettles Valentine, sold to Messrs JP & S Thorpe of New House, Orton, Penrith.
