TELMA LEADS RONICK SALE AT 20,000GNS
David and Ronald Dick offered the first females from the Ronick herd
and saw a maiden heifer, Ronick Telma, secured the top price of the
sale at 20,000gns.
Sired by the herd stock bull, Bailea Olympia, and carrying Broadmeadows
Ainsi on her mothers pedigree together with Ronick Elma - who was dam
of the noted bull Ronick Member. Telma is no stranger to the
show ring and was a member of the Ronick show team this season winning
Interbreed Champion Gargunnock Show and a member of the winning female
progeny group at ILC 2004. After strong bidding she was sold
to Harry Emslie Limousins of Peterhead, Aberdeen.
Close behind at 18,000gns was Ronick Money, a 6th calved cow selling
with her two week old calf Ronick Valueless. By the renowned
Ronick Gains and out of a Broadmeadows Cannon daughter Ronick Honey,
she was successfully bought by DB Mairs & Son, of Ballyclare, Co.Antrim.
