The Brownhaze Fold Reduction Sale of Pedigree Highland Cattle FRIDAY 25th FEBRUARY 2005

HIGHLAND CATTLE DRAW BIG CROWD

The first entry into the sale ring for the reduction sale of the Browhaze fold from SK & SD Brown of Trowbridge, Wiltshire, attracted the leading price of the sale at 2,300gns.

Capleadh Proiseag 2nd of Browhaze

The much admired senior heifer, Capleadh Proiseag 2nd of Browhaze a February 2001 born daughter of Cathach 1st of Drummygar drew the price of 2,300gns from Mr & Mrs D Fountain of Broomrigg, Lochmaben, Dumfriesshire.

Following at 1,800gns was a three year old heifer, An Ceitean 4th of Browhaze another daughter of Cathach 1st of Drummygar and out of a Hamish 1st of the Wellburn bred daughter, she sold to J Murdoch of Glenbuck Home Farm, Muirkirk, Ayrshire.

The sale drew much interest and bidding throughout met with a very satisfactory trade.
