Beef Shorthorn heifer leads traditional pedigree beef sale at Bristol

Lake Caron - 2,400gns

A beef shorthorn heifer from Lake House Estate sold for 2,400gns at Bristol Sale Centre. Lake Caron, a roan in calf heifer sired by Trunley Padre and going back to Chapelton breeding was much admired and sold to Messrs CT & AC Layberry of Blackhurst Farm, Heathfield, East Sussex.

Another heifer from the Lake herd sold for 1,450gns. Lake Kate, a roan maiden heifer, also sired by Trunley Padre and out of Derryage Posh Gypsy, was knocked down to LEP Farms Ltd of Drayton Farm House, Petersfield.
