A top call of 3000gns headed the Aberdeen Angus sale at Borderway, this was for Whitfield Jester Eric B425 a March 2002 son of Gothic of Whitfield, Jester Eric had a Beef Value of 40 and found his new home with Mr HW Sclater, Denhead, Dunlugas, Turriff, Aberdeen. Bred and exhibited by Messrs R Rutherford & Sons, Old Town, Whitfield, Hexham, Northumberland.

Next in line was local breeders Michael and Ann Story, Hobbiesburn, Longtown, carlisle with Border Lyne Elvis B010 at 2100gns he goes to Mr DL Jones, Ddol, Llanbadarn Fynydd, Llandrindod Wells, Powys.

2000gns topped the female section for Cragg Manhattan Belle from Juliet Swires, Cragg House Farm, Wilsill, Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Belle sired by Rawburn Elgar sold incalf to Fordel Eisenhower 7423, in the pre sale show she gained Female Championship and Reserve Overall and found her new home with Messrs AK Stoddart, Broxburn.
