“ Latter Fair” Suffolk Ram Show and Sale
On Thursday, 15th September 2005 Harrison & Hetherington, Carlisle held their annual Latter Fair Show and Sale of Suffolk Shearling and Ram lambs.

The Show was kindly judged by Mr I Rawlinson of Ulverston who awarded the Champion prize to a ram lamb from Mr I Barbour, Beech Grove, Annan and the Reserve to Mr D M Stewart, Holytrees Farm, for at Shearling Ram.
Suffolk rams were of mixed quality with buyers taking quality into account trade reflected on this however, prices achieved were above vendors expectations.

Shearling Rams: £400 Hazelhead, £400 Hollytree Farm, £380 Buckabank, £380 County Turf, £360 Blake Edge Farm, £350 (x2) Aldermanseat, £330 Calf Park.
