Show & Sale of Store Lambs

On Monday 12th September 2005 at Borderway Mart, Harrison & Hetherington held their Special Show & Sale of store lambs where they had forward 4144 store and breeding sheep. This special Show and Sale brought out some excellent lambs and the Judge Mr Tim Bowe, Mechi Farm, who carried out his job very well to award the Champion Prize to Messrs Litt, Millstone Moor, Redmain for a cracking pen of Texel lambs later purchased by the Judge for £47.

Reserve Champion went to Messr Knight, Church Style, Wasdale for his cracking Beltex lambs later selling for £52 to Geoff Little, Green Hill Farm.

Trade on the whole was good with all types still being well bid.
