Carlisle Euro Breeding Sheep Sale

On Monday 29th August 2005 at Borderway Mart, Harrison & Hetherington held their Annual Euro sale of 3788 Continental breeding sheep. A fantastic pre – show was kindly judged by Mr C Little The Guards and The Champion pen was awarded to Messrs Osborne of Castlehill with a tremendous pen of ten Texel cross ewe lambs which later sold for £88. A well traveled and local ring of buyers made the gimmer shearling trade, with most sellers well satisfied. Ewe lamb trade was very selective with buyers plentiful.
