Trade was the dearest seen this season with all sellers delighted with the trade.

A larger show of all breeds of rams were presented to a massive ring side of buyers. Messrs Baillie of Calla, Carnwath sold three Texel cross Beltex rams to average £873 which topped at £920 & £900. Messrs Runciman & Sons of Allenshaw, Galashiels sold a run of seventeen rams to average £416.50 which topped at £800. Messrs Armstrong of Townhead sold two Suffolks for £580 & £520. Messrs Dempster of Castle Hill sold a Texel for £450.
