Carlisle Early Breeding Ewe

Sale On Friday 12th August 2005 at Borderway Mart, Harrison & Hetherington held their breeding sheep sale when 2041 breeding ewes were forward.

A tremendous entry of sheep attracted a well travelled crowd of buyers. Trade was very competitive with most pens of sheep selling to last years high rates and more. Noted prices were a pen of 117 Mules two shear ewes consigned by Messrs Irving of East Cliff the hammer coming down on them at £84. Also Mr Harrison of Sceugh Farm had 101 Texel shearlings to average £83.04.
