BORDERWAY STORE & BREEDING SHEEP SALE REPORT

On Monday 9th May 2005 at Borderway Mart, Harrison & Hetherington held their Spring prize show & sale of hoggs, shearlings & ewes with lambs at foot.

Champion pen of Greyface hoggs with lambs at foot from Messrs G Sowerby of Terrys Farm.

The judging was kindly carried out by Mr I Wetherell of Low Buildings who awarded the Champion pen of Texel cross hoggs with lambs at foot from Mr James Whiteford of Tercrosset Farm which later sold for £57 per life. A large attendance of customers attended the sale and all classes of sheep met a tremendous trade.
