On Friday 17th September 2004 at St John’s Chapel Mart, Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their annual Prize Show and Sale of 1,088 Mule Gimmer Lambs for NEMSA members, also gimmer shearlings.

A total clearance was easily effected with prices falling in line with other sales by £4.96.
The show sponsored by Barclays Bank Plc was judged by Mr A Geary, Milton Keynes who made the following awards:

1st – Mr R W Morley, Warden Hill - £100 to Mr A Geary
2nd – Messrs M & B Coulthard - £77 to Mr M Dobinson
3rd – Messrs T Collingwood & Sons, Ambling Gate - £80 to Mr M Dobinson

Gimmer Lambs: £100 Warden Hill; £87 Burtreeford; £80 Ambling Gate; £77 Bridge End; £73 Gold Hill; £71 Pinfold; £70 Low Ling Riggs.
Mule Shearlings: £86 Lane Head.
