On Friday 24th September 2004 at Middleton in Teesdale Mart, Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their Annual sale of 750 crossed and uncrossed Swaledale ewes and 75 rams of all breeds.

Ewes met a total clearance with prices rising by £6.65 on the year to average £33.73.

Ram trade was buoyant for Bluefaced Leicesters but selective for other breeds, the overall average of £222.07 falling by £24.29 on the year.
