The Fourth fortnightly sale of Mule gimmer lambs, along with Swaledale
ewes, store lambs & rams was held at Harrison & Hetherington’s
Lazonby Mart in Cumbria on Wednesday 27th October 2004 where 5,129
head were sold.
Mule gimmers again found a good following topping at £70
from G Snowden & Sons,
Alston, to level at £53.15.
Swaledales reached £59 for
gimmer lambs, whilst leading the rams was a Bluefaced Leicester from
G R Wharton & Sons,
Keisley at £1,100.
