Lazonby Mule Gimmer Lambs

A top call of £100 was achieved at the Third sale of Mule Gimmer
Lambs at Harrison & Hetherington’s Lazonby Mart in Cumbria
on Wednesday where a grand entry of 9.921 head averaged £61.12
per head. The top priced pen was consigned by Messrs P & P M Smith,
The Dyke Farm, Alston and were knocked down to Messrs Faulder, Armathwaite.
Stronger lambs for tupping continued to realise prices in excess of £65
whilst running lambs were mainly £55 - £65. Again customers
came from far & wide to support this sale, and plenty of enquiry
has been received for the £3,500 lambs at the next sale.
