Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their Annual sale of 3,638 Swaledale
Ewes, Shearlings and Gimmer Lambs at Lazonby mart on Thursday 7th October
2004.
A good trade was experienced for the ewes with clients travelling
from as far
afield as Devon to purchase at this sale. Top price of the day was for
a pen of 2 and 3 crop ewes from Mr W Nattrass, Shield Hill Top and purchased
by Messrs W Reed & Son, The Knarr Farm. Crossed ewes also found a
tremendous following.
