KIRKBY STEPHEN SWALEDALE EWES

On Friday Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their Annual
sale of 4,622 uncrossed registered and unregistered Swaledale ewes and
gimmer shearlings.
Trade in general was below expectations with the overall average falling
by £20 per head to the 2002 level of £70.47. There was however
strong demand for best sheep.
