Carlisle Early Breeding Ewe Sale

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their annual early breeding ewe sale on Friday, 30th July 2004 at Borderway Mart. Once again sheep met a tremendous demand and all classes of sheep were good to sell and trade was much better than expected.

Leading prices: Suffolk £100 (x5) £98 Jocks Lodge, Texel £95, £90, £88 (x2) Home Farm, (Collister), £77 Calvo, £74 Bolton Wood House, Lleyn £61 Gorawood, Continental £60 Haithwaite Farm, Halfbred £58, £56 Haltcliffe Bridge.

Breeding Rams saw quality sorts both Suffolk and continental selling at high rates.
