MIDDLETON IN TEESDALE MULE GIMMER LAMBS

On Tuesday 16th September 2003 at Middleton in Teesdale Mart, Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held the annual Prize show and sale of 6087 Mule Gimmer lambs for NEMSA members.

The sale average rose by £8.75 from the previous year to level at £66.81.

The show kindly sponsored by Carrs Agriculture Ltd, Barnard Castle was judged by Mr K Millican, Newby who made the following awards.
1st and winners of the Messrs GM Teward & Sons Trophy and NEMSA rosette, HW Alderson, Howgill Grange, £230 to AM Brown & Sons
2nd HW Alderson £190 to CR Raine & Sons
3rd P Marwood, Hullerbush, £105 to Messrs Capstick
4th MC Dent & Son, Wythes Hill, £105 to Messrs Teward
