LAZONBY MULE GIMMER LAMBS 4th SALE

On Wednesday 29th October 2003, Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, held the 4th fortnightly sale of mule gimmer lambs together with Swaledale ewes, gimmer lambs, store lambs and rams.

A total entry of 4505 head was forward on the day. Mule gimmer lambs continued to sell well to a top of £70 to average £55.21 with customers plentiful for the large number forward.

Store lambs continued to find a ready market consistent with recent sales at this centre. Swaledale breeding ewes were an exceptional trade with many buyers leaving the mart with full trailers.
