LAZONBY MULE GIMMER LAMBS 3rd SALE

On Wednesday 15th October 2003, Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, held the 3rd fortnightly sale of mule gimmer lambs at Lazonby Mart. Where an entry of 8,677 head was put before a crowded ringside of purchasers.

Lambs found a very level trade throughout the day even to the last pen in the ring. A top price of £78 was recorded, but more importantly the average price was £64.11. Many more lambs could have been sold to the vendors advantage, with some clients leaving empty handed.
