LAZONBY SPECIAL SHEEP SALE

On Wednesday 24th September at Lazonby, Harrison & Hetherington Limited held a sale for Mule and Continental cross ewes and shearlings followed by store lambs of all breeds.

A nice entry of 730 head was forward and a total clearance was effected. Mule ewes sold to £87 from Mr W Raine, Ravenwood, Renwick, and store lambs to £40.50 from TG Sowerby, Amos Hill, Slaggyford.

Mule breeding ewes £87, £86 Ravenwood, £86 Church Rigg, £74 Croft House. Texel ewes £68 Croft House. Lleyn ewes £82, £81 Scales Hall.

Store lambs – Continental cross £40.50 Amos Hill, £35.50 Snowdrop Cottage. Suffolk cross £40 Pennine View, £38.50 Collene Croft, £38 Mill Cottage, £36 Churchrigg. Mule £38 Amos Hill.
