St Johns Chapel Auction MartHarrison & Hetherington Limited conducted their sale of 1030 NEMSA Gimmer Lambs. A total clearance was easily effected resulting in an average price of £58.54.

The show was judged by Mrs J Sedgewick who made the following awards, 1st and winners of the
C Birkbeck Trophy and NEMSA Rosette A Peart & Son, Woodcroft, later selling to J Sedgewick for £80, 2nd A Peart & Son to Mr Suddes for £69 and 3rd J Robinson, Lingriggs to N Rutter for £66.

Leading prices:- £80, £69 & £60 Woodcroft, £66 Lingriggs, £64 High Wingate, £62 Warden Hill, £60 Six Dargue, £60 Pinfold.
