Stonegarthside Mule Ewe Lambs

Harrison & Hetherington, Newcastleton held their first sale of Blackfaced and Mule ewe lambs followed by store lambs.

A large crowd of buyers again turned out to support Newcastleton Mart with buyers travelling from as far afield as Northampton. Trade throughout was excellent with market averages well over expectations.

Averages:- 802 mule ewe lambs £53.42; 543 Blackface ewe lambs £40.03; 52 Texel ewe lambs £40.56; 612 store lambs £35.21.
