BORDERWAY BREEDING SHEEP SALE REPORT

On Tuesday 10th September 2002, Harrison & Hetherington, Carlisle held there annual sale of 8180 North of England Mule shearling gimmers.

With buyers in attendance from as far a field as Melton Mawbray and Northampton (South) and Aberdeen (North).

With quality not at its normal high standards trade was exceptional with some very nice consignments of sheep averaging very well. Buyers were taking note of good sheep and bidding freely at good draws, and the sale averaged £70.15 throughout.
